Can you please share more.? My company also deals with Littler Global, and have not heard such news as of now.
Our lawyer Company has decided to file the AOS application in July
I work for a big 5 Software company & our lawyer Littler Global had taken a stand on July that they will not file our AOS application after the June VB was revoked/amended on July 2nd.
Surprisingly , today we have received a mail from them that that keeping in view our best interest they have decided to file our AOS case in July regardless of CIS receipting them.
Wanted to share this information as it may be helpful for you folks too ...

Now I am working for a company in OPT .
My OPT start at 7/10/2006
My OPT end at 7/9/2007
add 60 days Grace period ,so the date will be 9/7/2007
So 9/7/2007 till 10/1/2007 will have 24 days GAP.
How can I do to solve it ?
You can not work after 7/9/2007.
The end of the OPT will determine when you must stop working.
The 60 days grace period is only for you to take care of business before you go back home. In your case you must wait for 2 months and 24 days before returning to work otherwise you will be in violation of your status.

First thing, call one of the high powered attorneys discuss with them what options you have.
I think there is a recent court ruling that will favor you in fighting the USCIS decisions.
This is the first time we're (I'm) seeing such a denial notice related to the recent memo. So who ever thinks this is just a memo or USCIS reiterating existing rules. Rethink your stand. I'm sure more people will wake up soon.
Keep up the hope. Don't wait if possible try to apply for another new H1B.

I don't think constitution allows suing Congress because it has immunity. Based on the their approval ratings you would see thousands of lawsuits everyday if it was allows to sue congress.

My immigration attorney said it was OK for my wife to "volunteer" as long as the work was "volunteer", i.e. something a US citizen could "volunteer" to do.
She volunteered to work at a local library and it was a good diversion until they set a schedule for her and removed a job posting in the same library - then it became both a question of her being exploited and taking a job away from a US citizen, so she had to give it up. So, the lessen is, if it is truly volunteer work, then your spouse should be able to set his/her own schedule; if the schedule is set for him/her, then it becomes a problem.

I would suggest to go with EAD and AP for spouse as its better then H1B.
You don't have to stick one employee if spouse has EAD and she doesn't need to find job in perticular field if she has EAD...
But for you, I would say just use H1B as long as you can.
You should put the status on the day you are filing, so if you are filing before she gets on H-1, her status would be H-4.
Question: Why do need to have an AP filed? Is it just to avoid the hassle of stamping?
Just getting an AP approved has nothing to do with the H-1 status. But if you use the AP to enter into US, there is a grey area if the H-1 is still valid or not. Me and my wife applied for EAD on July 2nd, 2007 and got EAD in first week of OCT with error on both cards; they swap our A#s; My card has my wife's number and my wife card had my A #; I talked to CR; asked me to send both cards back; waited for 3 months for new cards, took infopass in DEC...created atleast 5 SR ..resend 765 applications 3 time to TSC....keep calling them ....and at the end we got corrected cards last week....

Is there any way to know if employer has revoked your 140. I have an approved 140 & pending 485. After filing 485 I left my company before completing 180 days. Its more than 9 months since I left my employer. Will the status change on USCIS web if 140 was revoked.

This is another fake story and push to try to get Congress to do something about easing immigration. 150K entrepreneurs have returned home. Really? I have not seen more than 100 Indian+Chinese NEW companies - worth their name - come up in the last at least 10 years. And about 5000 US firms that are making waves have come up in the US, 90% of which are started by born-Americans.
Moral: those that returned home were not entrepreneurs!
