Don't know why my file is still pending (RD 6/18), present EAD expiring in 2 weeks..:)
My EAD renewal is pending as well - RD 6/18 - present EAD expiring on 9/25. I requested expediting processing on 8/13 and received a letter yesterday saying they are reviewing my request and will have a decision in 60 days : :rolleyes:

also ..this looks very inaccurate ..because I know lot of indians who got H1 during the peak (when h1 was 195k) have gone back. i.e either they got better oppurtunities back home or just went back as they were not getting jobs. I did stay in one of the guest house which had lots of consultants ..none of them are here anymore !!

Set up a LLC company or sole proprietorship and work with an attorney. Keep the paperwork tight and upto date.

Setting up company is just the first step for Self-Employment. The key things is to demonstrate that new job is in same/similar classification and company has offered "bonafide" job, not just job on paper.
BTW, it is not necessary to have LLC. The corporate structure could be S-Corp or C-Corp also.

GCStatus, I think Prashanthg's point is a valid one but that in no way means that we should not sue USCIS for what all they have been doing all these years. This in fact will help us prepare our case even more stronger against USCIS. It is best we ourselves find all the gaps we might have while we proceed with this case instead of them coming onto the issue.
I would suggest everyone who ofcourse is in favor or in doubt to bring forward the issues they think we need to cover while we move on with this.

We are making great progress. Lets keep it going. Its ideal, we dont waste our energy on these.

Thanks for the excellent suggestion. Do you know Dr. Woo or do you know someone who would know Dr. Woo? That would help a lot. Will initiate the contact with 80-20 initiative right away.

1) Be serious about this action item, not only should we be sending out this email, but also encouraging all others- Including your colleagues, friends, family- GC Holders, Citizens to send this email to their lawmakers. Numbers matter.
2) We should follow up and make appointments Next week (It is a short week) or on Monday 29th November. When we go to this appointment, just focus on the message of this action alert. Do not be tempted to talk about any other issue, Do not take a lot of time and do not present any personal issue. Just talk about this one issue.
3) Please consider getting on a recurring contribution for IV. We need the funds. There are a lot of things that can be achieved if we had a big budget.

FYI sent wife's application on August 11th .. reached NSC on 14th .. checks got chshed yesterday. Online status says application was picked on Sep 25th.
My application was sent on 2nd July reached July 3rd and have received recepit noice earlier.

I got my receipt notices (485,765,131) yesterday. I had my 140 approved from Texas. Lawyer filed 485 package on July 17th to Texas. I got my receipt notices on 09/18/07 from Nebraska.

I have been waiting for the FP in the hope that they will be issuing it soon, its already Feb and I have not received it yet. Im the only one who has not recieved the notice yet in my friends circle, I have opened an SR last week. Mine is TSC application. Are there any TSC guys yet to receive the FP notices. Overall are there a significant number of people still waiting or is it just a few of us
