Thanks for your reply guys..I have 71 points (with 16 language point). Hence I have to get at least 12 points in language skill. I think i will have to sit for IELTS..no other choice man :( But I have found in one canadian immigration forum that one guy with similiar situation replied back to canadian consulate that he studied English from school and also his work experiance is in english and he really thinks he should get 16 points. And then the embassy called him for an interview in NY and finally he got his PR. But this is just one example, everyone else ultimately took IELTS...

If your labor cert contains language such as "...may work at one or more unanticipated locations", you should be fine with no need to re-start the GC process.
However, I would check with an attorney to be on the safe side.

I've learnt that either after filing I-140 or I-485 stage, one should maintain as an employee at the same job position(job description as mentioned in LC) and also the geographical location. I've learnt instances where if an employee is half way through (lets say approved labor or I-140) his GC process has to start all over if he had to move to another branch of the same company in another city/state.
Is this true? I might be wrong about the infomation above but I'm concerned as being consultant, I might have to move to a different city or state if I find a better project and am contemplating whether this would be an issue in future for my green card.
If I'm right, employer has to file LCA for prevailing wage for current city I'm residing now. What will be the process incase I've to move to another city/state.
I'd really appreciate if someone who has better official info or gone through this can clarify my queries so ppl like me can be better informed.

Use G325A since it has four pages. Each page will be sent to different places written at the left bottom of each page. My lawyer sent me G325A.
I disagree. if you read the instructions on Form I-485 it clearly states nder the inital evidence that you are required to submit Form G325A. No where did they mention GA 325.
So if i were you, I would agree to the earlier post to submit the G325A along with all your details in a letter or wait for a receipt.

hello folks,
I am switching jobs after an approved I140 and over 180 days from 485 receipt.
I am expecting no problems when leaving my current company. but just incase they decide to revoke my 140,
- is it ok to file AC21 after i receive the NOID if some thing happens or is it better to file AC21 now?
one other complication is i will be changing address too. how long does it take for USCIS to update my new address in their records? the reason i am asking is if they send me RFE or NOID, i will totally miss the boat if they send it to the wrong address. i am sure they will send a copy to my attorney, but he works form my current employer and I will assume he is less likely to help. Does it help if i file G28 with my own name and my new address?
I need to join my new job in 10 days and i hev give my crrent company a notice so it is a bit urgent. Please help.

2) I-134 ( convinced that they will need this even for H4 dependent )
3) did not ask for W2's or pay stubs
4) of course original medicals in closed envelope
5) all previous H4 approvals + I94's and color photocopy of entire passport
6) photos and required cheque's

I am starting a new thread ONLY for people who e-filed I-765 to NSC .
I e-filed at NSC on 14 Apr 2010. Received the receipt on 04/16/10 and had last LUD on 04/20/10. Waiting for approval

Say Mr A with a PD of 2004 applied for 485 on July 23.
But Mr B with a PD of 2005 applied for 485 in 2005 or anytime before July 2007.

The only case that I read where a person got an RFE was when he had done the skin which was positive and inspite of the chest x-ray being negative.
The RFE he got was because the doctor unneccesarily made a note on the I-693 that a medication course is recommended.

Also people on one area does not like what is liked in other area and when we have a product that contains both, well the same people now unite and start to not like the final product and this goes on ..... It is same CHANGE that President Obama mentions too often, but the same change is Now liked by Republicans, and Dems did not like the change this time around. Also with the communication revolutions, the election campaign seems to have become much much long.... And Oh !! Well... now our President apart from Health Care Reform, Immigration Reform and climate change issue, also need to work on his re-election from now on, if he doesn't want the change he loves some much, in White House in 2012 election... HOPE - at least people in this group, see CHANGE for better, CHANGE from AOS to LPR .... Now, let us see what will this loss of filibuster majority by Dems do in the interim.... Only time can tell. Change we can believe in !!!

In 2008 My wife applied for H1B and My wife got her H1B approved and along with the approval she got new I-94
valid till Sep 2011.
But she was not able to start working/ find a job due to family reasons and economy conditions.
