Guys,
I have a long layover at New Delhi airport. I am reaching their at 8PM and my next flight in the morning at 7:30AM. Is there any accommodation facility within airport? Or Do i need to go to city? This is the first time, i am going through delhi airport. Any helpful comments are welcome. Thanks and appreciate your help.

I was in a similar frame of mind like you a few days ago...thinking whether to switch to EAD with different company or not.
On technical side, job title and description does not need to be word-to-word same. Just use common-sense (if a programmer is going to be working as an Electrician or Systems Administrator, that might cause a problem. Otherwise you should be able to prove the similarity.)
On the other side, EAD is a gift USCIS has given while your 485 is pending. Even being on H1B, there is nothing much you can do if you run out of luck. So, why not enjoy the freedom? Come out in the sky. You will "feel" it, especially if your current employer is "desi" or if you have to call them 10 times in a month to get your paycheck.
I am myself invoking AC21 in April. Whatever happens, I know I will survive. Wherever I live later (India or US), I know I will be with my family and I will still have tens of reasons to thank God for.
If you want to be a little more conservative, spend few dollars and get a back-up of an attorney.
Let go of the negativity. Do it.

The second one is good, but I feel that it's too heavily "weighted" on the right side, with nothing to balance things out on the left side. I only wish that the foreground plant was conveniently moved a yard / meter to the left for you. ;)

Best course of action would be to go to your Home Country during that period....visa stamping is not a big deal at all.....njoy your vacation...for you might not get this much off/free time in the foreseeable future!!!!

The 60 days grace period is only for you to take care of business before you go back home. In your case you must wait for 2 months and 24 days before returning to work otherwise you will be in violation of your status.

I think everyone is interested in their interests. We call it vested interest. Everyone is going to work to further their interests just like we are working for our problems. To us, our problems are genuine, but may not be to everyone who we think they should be.
To the extent possible (with in the limits of our resources) in our publicity efforts, it is prudent to make our natural allies more proactive, to turn the people in our favor who are nuetral, and, reduce the impact of groups that are anti-legal immigartion by spreading the positives.
I am not in false hopes that every one is going to change their thinking because we told them our problems, but, we should try to the extent possible. It is not going to harm us.

I need advice..My project ended yesterday and I have another opportunity to work on EAD. I know my current employer will not be able to find a job for me as has been the case earlier and he will remove me from payroll soon. Can I start working with new employer and do not resign from my current employer?
I need help on this as I do not want to terminate my job from my side.
Any advice will be appreciated.

You would be resigning not terminating in case of joining a new job. Conceptually termination and resignation are completely different. Termination may have positive or negative meaning whereas resignation generally have positive meaning. Written proof of resignation is always a good. You can not do that what you want to do and if you do perhaps it will lead you towards your own grave assuming your employer and you do not have very good terms and/or relations. wih each other Suppose say if you do that, employer would simply notify USCIS to terminate your H1 as you have not resume your duty since last "so&so dates" and he may proceeding for some legal action for the the loss of so and so dollars as you did not work without notification... I mean to say if you want to play the games then your employer also can play games and perhaps it may be the master since it had to deal with many people having same mentality and might have gained better experience in that so I would suggest not to take that route. Here is my honest opinion.... you guys need to highlight the fact that IV is equlally concerned about PBEC issue. This is what i have heard and read from a lot of folks... Just to let u guys know that even my app is stuck with PBEC..
Sorry that u r stuck at PBEC. It is more than 4 months since i tuned into labor forums. Is there any progress at PBEC? Has the RIR Q moved to mid 2002 consistantly? Earlier Non RIR Q was ahead. Is this still the case?
I can understand those without labor not coming fully forward.
U must understand that it will be 4-6 months atleast by the time we see the fruits of any new law, but if we miss this chance, the options are very bleak. Here is why.
If u dont get any relief now, there will be none for may be another couple of years.
There are enough aspirants that can consume this years and next years quota whose PD is in 2002 for some countries like INDIA (even for Eb2). Dont be fooled by the forward movement of PD now.
The way the USCIS works and the way priority date moves, u will see some forward movement till sep' 06 and again they will move back a couple of years. For those who come out of labor process from PBEC the situation is no different than it is today, if u cant file I-485 and get portability. U will be even more dissapointed.

Hello everyone,
I have a question abt the recent contributions. Of late i have seen a SHARP drop in contributions. Have we reached a plateau now, or are the contributions not updated live?
Also i have a question abt what the agreement is with QGA. Do they do nothing till we pay the $200k or do they do things in installments (like our immigration lawyers ;)). A lot of non members, but possibly potential contributors keep asking me abt the same. If the board can answer this question i would appreciate it. If you do not want to post that info on here, please send me a Private Message.
