Now a days I am seeing lots of questions asked by new members. If you have some mechanisms to show whether they have registered with valid data or fake data would help the other members who spend time in answering those questions.

90 days after the Prez signs it, which he should fairly promptly after it's been ratified by both houses. However, all this is moot point -IMO- as the real sticky and unpredictable part is house and senate agreeing on the same bill, etc.

USCIS people rejected the Application. Now the application is with my Attorney. So which option I need to select the for the taking the Info Pass appointment. My Attorney is telling if they accept the application and they put any RFE so that we can take the Info Pass appointment is it correct?

I think it is high time we need to set rules and roles for senior member alike - they are supposed to bring people to the group not the otherway around - We are setting a wrong precedence - A guy who has contributed more than you, can ask you to lay off ilikekilo, and that is not far away.
Anyways, Some of the members have become super stars by being here and wanting to do more so let seniors show the real attitude to freshmen.

The reason my h1b was denied because the consultant showed that I would be working for him instead of working for client. I suspect he didn't respond well for the RFE earlier in the case.
Is it possible to submit a motion for reconsideration by a new employer(when I find one in the next month or so)? To make things worse, I am having a hard time concentrating on possible upcoming interview because of my h1b visa denial. Pls tell me what options do I have if I am made an offer by a private(profit) employer. BTW my master is in comp. engg and I completed my masters in Dec 06.
Its really disheartening to wait one more year to start work along with my increasing debts. Its bad being job-searching-graduated-student in USA with this situation.

Have you tried to get an appointment in Calgary, Halifax or Quebec City. These 3 places are normally the easiest to get visa appt.

Do you have the kids who goes to School? If yes then Either Sugarland Or Katy area are usual choice. You have some apartments in Hwy 6 and 59 area. If you Work in downtown you can use park and ride from any of locations.
If you do not have kids you can get am apartment near your office So that you do not have spend time in traffic.

Also do i need to add my tax return, my I20 and my paystubs with application. She just came into country so she does not have any tax rerurn of her own nor any I20 or any paystubs of her own.. Please suggest.

BUT: mine is an NIW case so i think she wanted to prove continuous service since 2003 in this job (under served area), she also asked the employer for a payroll printout since january.

Do I have to file an amended I-140 or no? I contacted two lawyers on this issue. One says yes and second says no. The second lawyer who is from very reputed law firm -- (shusterman.com) says u only need to respond to RFE for 1 yr and 5 yr of service and not send an updated I-140 especially if you stay in the same MUA / state. I don't know whom to believe? Any suggestions.

Steven brings up a good point about those camera phones. I fear them to a degree. Someone told me recently that they had read/heard advice that when you're using a credit card at a store make sure you keep the numbers covered up. Apparently, people with camera phones have been known to take a picture of your card to get the numbers and expiration date.

Yeah, saw that on the news, too. My card has a hologram over the last 4 digits which should help foil (oooh, bad pun) this type of thing. Heck unless the light's just right I can't always read it. :)
I did hear one report where they got a robber's license plate from someone's cam-phone, so there's a good aspect to them, too.

I think the same. As my latest passport shows no visa except the AP entry stamp, they are confused how did I travel to India earlier. My wife explained them that I used AP, but they still believe that a visa page is missing in the supporting docs. So they have retained the passport and asked to submit 'current copy of husband's visa'. Now I am going to write a personal letter explaining the same and attaching the original I-797 which has my I-94.
Did you have your wife take copies of all pages from your passport. If not, I suggest you send them along with the letter. Also attach copy of your AP.
