Is premium processing for I-140 back again??. I know that the premium processing for I-140 was suspended due to the expectations that there will be lot of I-485 applications during july. BUT now that they have made the dates unavailable.. IS PREMIUM PROCESSING FOR I-140 REINSTATED?? ANYBODY HAVE ANY UPDATES ON THIS !!!

with the lack of regulation on AC 21 law, each attorney's take different position when it comes to handling AC 21 cases, in my case the primary reason driven to file AC 21 is the small window of period available in getting I 485 adjudicated when the PD is current, so I don't want to loose time when the PD is current and get an RFE from USCIS and running back and forth to get the RFE responded before loosing PD, more over I took the 20 minute counselling with Murthy law firm and they advised to notify USCIS about employer change.Later I was fortunate that USCIS did not issue RFE(may be it helped USCIS by notifying them in advance and clear their doubt) and approve my I 485 when PD was current.

Guys. Assuming the same set of conditions as being discussed in this thread (Intent to change employers, I-140 already approved etc..)... Would I be able to retain my PD even if I change my field when I move to a new employer (shift from IT to Marketing after getting my MBA).

While I am with you on the outburst, I want to underscore that GC is not a panacea for all problems in life. C mon, There is more to life than GC. Yes, your Masters Degree will pay you in the long run. No need to worry about it. Keep the GC thing on the back burner and see what you can do meanwhile (PMP,GMAT etc..)

Hi Bhayzone,
Just so you know, your wife can attend school on H4 also. It helps to know this if the F1 doesn't go through. But, IMHO, it is better to be on F1 than H4 on any given day!

Hey Renata,
It was struggle with my wife;thanks God she got the EAD more than a year ago. Therefore she is working now and a little happier. I am also OK in my current work. The problem is that I have missed more than 4 job offers that would allow further career growth and potential much better rewards.
Since my wife couldn't work, we had a baby back then.
Tell me, which country in Europe are you from ? I have a very good friend of mine who is Italian. By the way, if you are in the Seattle, WA area, feel free to come over and join us. We get together for good wine, lasagna, "churrasco", etc pretty much every weekend with our Italian friends. The way I see it, is that while we wait for this insane visa bulletin advancement, at least we should allow ourselves to drink a good wine and eat nicely :-)

I have sent a request 5 months back to FOIA to get my I-140 copy. No luck yet.
I'm not sure if you can do a PD transfer just based on receipt #. You may try the FOIA route - but please be aware that it will take about a year plus to get a copy of your 140. Now depending on your PD, you can take a guess and go ahead - either do FOIA and get a copy OR just wait until PD is current for you again.

It all depends on the language in the Agreement that you signed. More over in some state doesn't consider these kind of agreements.
Tell him that you are going to complain to DOL if he threatens you. Even though he sues you, as the reason behind your H1 transfer is not getting paid in time, there are very good chances getting final verdict in your favor.
So don't worry.
Thanks for the advice. I also told him that i will complain to DOL and USCIS but no response from him he asked for compensation but i didn't agreed on it . Now, I am in process of complaining to DOL and they are saying that the case is in court so now i am searching for a lawyer in virginia.
